EPISODE 1 - LOCATIONS
The Disorient Express is a series of connected train cars. Each non-engine train car has an emergency exit that is accessible via the roof. The train cars, in order, can be found below. For the train car maps, assume the right side is the front of the car

Where the engineers do their magic to make the train move. There's a very hot, coal-burning furnace in the middle of the room, along with a very large pile of coal and shovels to throw them into the fire. The control station is located in a separate room closer to the front of the cabin.

The staff of the train store passenger luggage on this car. Don't worry--your character can still have their carry on, so to speak. This is where the more heavy stuff goes, like steamer trunks and other things that might not be so easy to store in your cabin. Each piece of luggage is labelled with a sticker to indicate which cabin the owner is staying in. If you'd like to retrieve your luggage for whatever reason, just pass your ticket over to the desk attendant, and they'll get it for you ASAP.
Additionally, there is a small stairwell that leads above the luggage car to a staff break room.

Ah, the restaurant car. Meals are served at 9 AM, 1 PM, and 7 PM, but if you're hankering for a snack sometime outside of those hours, just let a staff member know. Breakfast includes delectable Mediterranean and French pastries, as well as fresh coffee and tea for those that are caffeine-dependent. Looks like the lunch and dinner menu changes every day. Those with specialized diets will be served appropriate food.
There's a area near the back for the staff to assemble/prep meals for serving, as well as a large ice box for storage.

Be quiet when walking through here, you never know if people are trying to nap! The sleeper car is host to twelve cabins--four second-class cabins, and eight first-class cabins. The second-class cabins allow for two occupants, while those in first-class get sweet, sweet privacy. The seat in a second class cabin can be turned into a simple bunk bed. There is a bathroom at each end of the car.
Each pair of second-class cabins have a shared closet that connects adjacent rooms, where passengers may deposit any luggage they wish to have with them during the course of the trip. First-class passengers may store their luggage in their own rooms.

Interested in conversing with your fellow passengers and enjoying a drink or two? Head on over to the lounge car! The bar is tended to by staff between 12 PM to 10 PM. Cocktails, wine, beer, spirits...whatever you're craving, they have just the cure. The seats are plush and velvety, making you want to sink into a good chair and not move for the rest of the day.
If you're looking to pass the time, there's a shelf full of board games, a bookcase full of fiction and nonfiction literature, and a few racks of international newspapers and magazines. There's even a baby grand piano in here! Play a tune or two...if you're good enough not to annoy your fellow passengers.

The caboose has quarters for the staff to sleep and rest during the long journey. It's not very comfortable back here, but the space has been decorated with all manner of posters and personal touches. There's a small, coal-burning stove bolted to the floor for the staff to heat the car and to warm their food. In the back is a door leading to an outdoor 'balcony', which allows you to look out upon the departing scenery behind the train. As long as you don't mess around too much, the staff are usually okay with letting people take a look.
